To do so, they planned to launch a localized, multiple-step training certification program internationally – in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Cognex knew that it had to distribute standardized training materials to maintain the integrity of the program, so that all learners would receive the same level of knowledge to become “C1 certified, regardless of their location.” To implement this new training program, they needed a scalable solution for printing and delivering student workbooks, lab workbooks, and reference materials to partners worldwide. “The decision was definitely a no brainer.” Selecting Mimeo as a Partner The team considered local print vendors but found their user interfaces for building and publishing bound documents lacking. Soon, the training content will be translated into Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Hindu, and Latin American Spanish. Then, instructors at partner organizations throughout the world will be able to order training materials as needed, and students can work towards becoming C1 certified. “I like the scalability of Mimeo Marketplace. So, I can easily order what I need in the interface, whether that’s 5 or 25 copies.
