Home | How to Publish a Document to Your Marketplace from Print (Mimeo Marketplace)
Open Menu
To publish an item to your Marketplace, you must first either upload it to Print (as a printed document or warehoused item) or Digital. This article focuses on publishing a Print document.
Start in your Mimeo Print account. You can either begin with an existing document or upload files to build a new document.
See this article for help building a Print document.
From your library, select the document you want shoppers to access on Marketplace. Then, select “Publish.”
This will take you to your Marketplace Administration Console in a new tab. Select your desired Marketplace and category.
Next, you will be prompted to configure your document. On this screen, you have a variety of settings to select.
Edit the title.
You can also designate published items to be shipped with this file as a bundle by adding them to the product.
Under “Document Preview” you can choose to offer the Mimeo-generated preview of the document, which is pulled from Mimeo Print, or use a custom image. You can also change the preview orientation, limit the number of pages available for preview, or even disable the viewer altogether.
Next, provide a document summary. This is a description of the item that will appear on the item’s product page. You can format text in this editor to customize it to your brand's standards.
Under the “status” section, select whether this content is active - which means it is available to your shoppers - or hidden or inactive. If it is hidden or inactive, it will only be viewable by administrators. Here, you can also set an expiration date for the material.
Next, set a minimum and maximum quantity.
“Section Selection” determines whether your shopper can choose to order only a certain section of your document or not. This is only available if the original document has sections designated by unique files. If the document is a binder, you can also choose to automatically resize the binder based on how many sections your shopper orders.
This article explains how to set up a document as multiple files.
Under “Product Approval,” you can choose whether to require every order of this item to be approved by an administrator. You can also trigger approval when they order a certain quantity of the item.
Next, you can add custom information such as revision number or product code in the “Custom Fields” section.
Use the “Tags” and “Categories” sections to make it easy for your shopper to find this item. Tags will be one or two words, such as “binder” or “new store,” while the categories are predetermined. You can add as many tags and categories as necessary.
Finally, set up the pricing. You can choose to add a markup to Mimeo’s production cost, which will be paid to your organization in royalties. If choosing a markup, you can add a certain percentage, add a specific dollar amount, or simply offer the document at a fixed cost.
You can also publish a document directly from Mimeo Digital Command. Simply go to your library and select “publish.”
