Online Printer Mimeo Donates to Teach for America

This summer, we pledged to donate $1 to Teach for America for every person who stopped by our booth at the Association of Talent and Development (ATD) International Conference and Expo. We counted up everyone who stopped by, played corn toss with us, and were pleased to see that the ATD community helped us raise $5,000.

Teach for America is not only a long-time customer of Mimeo, but is also aligned with the passion of every person at ATD: to make a difference in the world through education. By enlisting, developing, and mobilizing the nation’s future leaders, Teach for America fuels schools with the best and brightest to grow and strengthen the movement for educational equity and excellence. In fact, a few of the ATD attendees who stopped by our booth were former TFA teachers, and almost everyone confessed to being a fan of Teach for America’s mission.

Since Mimeo supports the corporate learning world by distributing its content, we think a lot about education and learning best practices. That’s why it matters to us to give back to learning communities around the world to help foster first-class education for everybody.

Mimeo is committed to giving back to our community, particularly to organizations that emphasize education. This fall, we’ll be participating in a NY-based Tough Mudder competition, to benefit Hopeland. Mimeo will match every employee’s entrance fee with a donation to Hopeland, an international, education, and advocacy community giving a voice to the 8 million children living in institutions & the tens of millions more without the care of a family.
